Who is eligible to receive a grant from Recovery Circles?

Any individual over the age of 18 who is recommended from one of our partners, and whose annual income is below $45,000.  Block grants are issued to partners for recovery related programs and in support of group activities.

How do I become a partner with Recovery Circles?

Please refer to the “Our Partner” section of our website and read the requirements for application. 

Is there any obligation for partners to make a donation to Recovery Circles?

There is no donation or monetary contribution expected of our partners.  We do however ask that partners engage in mutually agreed upon co-marketing opportunities.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes.  Recover Circles is a registered 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit foundation. 

What is the typical size of a recovery circles grant?

The size of the grant varies. However, grants for specific individuals do not exceed $5000.  Block grants for partner programs or recovery initiatives are determined on a case by case basis.

Can individuals apply for grant money directly?

No.  All individuals must be referred or recommended by one of our approved partners.

Does grant recipient information remain confidential?

Yes.  Recovery Circles does not share any personal information about the individual grant recipients with any outside party.

How do you select partners?

Partners selected by Recovery Circles must be focused on the treatment of addictions, have a reputation for treatment excellence, and must offer predominantly after-care or post-primary care treatment options to program participants.
