Our Alumni

Recovery Circles has helped hundreds of people begin their path to recovery. Our alumni continue to stay in touch with our partners and often send us letters to keep us informed on their progress.  Below are several excerpts from those letters:

“I could not afford this program on my own being a single mother of four children, working and attending school. I appreciate this experience with all my heart.”
-Recovery Circles Alumna

“Recovery Circles Foundation has been a tremendous benefit to me as I continue my journey in recovery.”

“I have lost the last five years of my life that I will never be able to get back, but I have gained so much more in the last 3 months that it has all been worth it.”
- Participant, Arabella House, Linden Oaks at Edward

“Funds for first month rent, security deposit, and essential furniture were provided for a woman and her child to move from Cressey House to independent living. She is currently employed at a local alcohol and drug treatment center, helping others accomplish what she has accomplished herself.”

“I am going to carry on what I learned and give it back to others.”
- Alumna, Recovery Circles Foundation

“Recovery Circles Foundation has been a tremendous benefit to me as I continue my journey in recovery. Following release from a treatment program and while I was still unemployed, the funds allocated to me were instrumental in maintaining a continuity of care and transition from inpatient treatment to aftercare treatment and therapy. An abundance of thanks to Recovery Circles for their assistance.”
- Alumna Life Enrichment Services

“I don’t know where I would be today without this program. Now my future is limitless. Thank you for giving my life back”.
- Alumna, Recovery Circles Foundation

“I would like to thank deeply and sincerely, all those from this foundation who have helped me, those before me, and the countless yet undiscovered people who are in desperate need of help. To paraphrase a dear friend of mine, my life hasn’t gotten any better, but I have. And I’ll keep on getting better, through the grace of God, the fellowship of AA, and the generous support of this Foundation.”
-Alumnus, Behavioral Health Services

“The aftercare program RCF is helping to show me how to meet life’s challenges daily. Today I am very grateful to be sober. Thank you.”

"Six months after leaving The Meadows, this client shared that she was working a strong 12-Step Program, attending meetings daily and working with her sponsor. She sounded upbeat, delighted to receive a "check-in" phone call, and shared her gratitude to both Recovery Circles Foundation and The Mellody House." - Therapist, The Meadows
